About the Opportunity
Concentric Corporation is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Senior Sales Representative on behalf of a growing mechanical services organization. This individual will play a critical role in driving business development efforts across refrigeration, cold storage, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical service offerings.
This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who brings established industry connections, strong technical knowledge, and a proven ability to develop new business while expanding existing client relationships. The ideal candidate understands the unique challenges facing food processing facilities, cold storage operations, distribution centers, manufacturing environments, and industrial customers.
Location: Omaha, NE or St. Louis, MO
Position Overview
The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and expanding service and project revenue throughout the assigned territory. This individual will work closely with operations, project management, and technical teams to deliver customized solutions that meet customer needs while supporting organizational growth objectives.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a consultative sales environment and has a strong track record of developing business through networking, relationship building, and industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive new business growth within the assigned territory
- Leverage existing industry relationships and professional networks to identify sales opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with facility managers, operations leaders, plant managers, engineers, and executive decision-makers
- Identify opportunities for service agreements, preventative maintenance programs, capital projects, retrofits, and system upgrades
- Conduct customer needs assessments and develop customized service and project solutions
- Prepare proposals, presentations, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate reporting on business development activities
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Attend industry events, trade associations, and networking functions to expand market presence
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, energy initiatives, and emerging technologies
- Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering long-term partnerships and repeat business
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent industry experience will be considered.
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience within commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, cold storage, mechanical services, HVAC, or related industries.
Requirements for Position
- Proven success developing and growing business within industrial or commercial markets
- Established relationships within cold storage, food processing, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or related industries
- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, or mechanical service solutions
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, negotiate agreements, and close complex sales
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business development and consultative selling abilities
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
