Director of Sales & New Business Development
A national technology and infrastructure services organization is seeking a Director of Sales & New Business Development to drive new revenue growth and help build a more predictable, scalable sales engine. This role is focused on winning complex, high-value deals, developing strategic partnerships, and creating repeatable sales motions across direct, partner, and program-based channels.
This position begins as a senior, hands-on individual contributor role with significant influence over future sales structure and strategy. The successful candidate will leverage existing relationships, build new market connections, and shape how the organization approaches enterprise and multi-site opportunities.
The ideal candidate is comfortable selling operationally complex services where execution quality, scope clarity, and margin discipline are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own new business growth, including pipeline development, deal strategy, and revenue performance
- Lead complex sales pursuits from discovery through close, including qualification, stakeholder alignment, proposals, negotiation, and contracting
- Build and execute a focused target account strategy aligned to company strengths and market opportunities
- Generate pipeline through direct outreach, existing relationships, referrals, and partner-led opportunities
- Identify and develop programmatic and recurring revenue opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure solutions are executable, well-scoped, and commercially sound
- Maintain strong CRM discipline, including pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and next-step clarity
- Support proposal development and pricing strategy to ensure deals are competitive, clear, and profitable
- Ensure clean internal handoffs and strong pre-project alignment to set delivery teams up for success
- Contribute market feedback to refine positioning, offerings, and go-to-market strategy
- Help shape service packaging and sales processes to improve scalability and margin performance
Work Environment:
- Remote or hybrid work environment depending on location - preferred in Omaha, NE
- Travel expected for customer meetings, site visits, and partner development
- High-autonomy role with close collaboration across leadership, operations, and delivery teams

Qualifications:
- Proven track record of closing complex B2B deals involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong experience building pipeline and converting it into revenue
- Background in full-cycle, hunter-style sales roles
- Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management and forecasting
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of scope, margin, and delivery considerations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor in a growth environment
- Self-directed, high-ownership mindset with the ability to build momentum independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling technical, infrastructure, or operationally intensive services
- Background in healthcare, enterprise, or large-scale multi-site environments
- Experience selling through partners, alliances, or channel ecosystems
- Programmatic, national account, or multi-site deployment sales experience
- Experience helping shape or scale a sales function in a growing organization
