Position Overview:

A growing organization within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry is seeking an Architectural Consultant to support design professionals, influence specifications, and drive project success within the Tampa market.

This role works closely with architects, designers, developers, and contractors to provide technical guidance, product expertise, and consultative support throughout the design and construction process. The Architectural Consultant plays a key role in building relationships, identifying project opportunities early, and ensuring solutions are aligned with client needs.

This is a highly interactive, relationship-driven role ideal for someone who enjoys working alongside design teams, providing insight, and contributing to projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, developers, and contractors
• Partner with design professionals to influence specifications and support project planning
• Provide technical guidance and product knowledge throughout the design and construction process
• Identify and track project opportunities from early concept through completion
• Conduct presentations and educational sessions for architectural and design teams
• Collaborate internally to align project needs with available solutions
• Maintain accurate tracking of projects, client interactions, and pipeline activity within CRM systems
• Stay informed on industry trends, building practices, and market activity
• Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
• Support successful project execution through consistent communication and follow-through

Work Environment:

• Onsite role based in Tampa, FL
• Frequent local travel for client meetings, presentations, and job site visits
• Field-based, relationship-focused environment
• Collaborative work with internal teams and external partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
• Five to seven years of experience working within the A/E/C industry in a consultative or client-facing role
• Experience working with architects and design teams preferred
• Strong understanding of the design and construction process
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience using CRM systems to track activity and pipeline
• Self-motivated with a proactive and relationship-focused approach

Preferred Qualifications:

• Established relationships within the Tampa design and construction community
• Experience supporting product specifications or design consulting
• Background in building materials, construction products, or related industries
• Experience leading presentations or educational sessions for design professionals
