Position Overview:

A growing organization is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across a defined Southern territory. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing existing relationships, and serving as a trusted partner to customers across the region.

This is a highly autonomous, relationship-driven sales role that requires a strong ability to prospect, build trust, and close opportunities while maintaining a high level of service and market awareness.

Location: Remote (Must reside in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and grow sales performance within an assigned multi-state territory
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to increase revenue and market share
• Prospect and generate new business through networking, industry events, and outreach
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders
• Conduct onsite visits to understand customer needs and identify opportunities
• Provide product guidance, training, and ongoing support to customers and partners
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful deal execution
• Track activity, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates through CRM systems
• Gather market intelligence, including customer trends and competitive insights
• Represent the organization at regional and national industry events and trade shows
• Coordinate travel plans, sales activities, and reporting to align with business goals

 

Work Environment:

• Remote, field-based role within assigned territory
• Travel required, including overnight travel and extended trips throughout the month
• Frequent onsite customer visits, meetings, and industry events

 

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Five or more years of experience in outside sales, territory management, or a related industry
• Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to analyze customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable with frequent travel and time in the field
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
