Associate Director of Operations
Position Overview:
Concentric Corporation is partnering with a growing national operations and facilities services organization is seeking an Associate Director of Operations to support regional leadership and drive operational performance across multiple markets. This role works closely with senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives, improve operational processes, and ensure consistent service delivery across field teams and service partners.
The Associate Director of Operations plays a key role in connecting corporate strategy with day-to-day execution. This position supports oversight of regional business units, assists in managing operational performance, and collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure strong financial results, client satisfaction, and operational consistency.
This is a leadership role for a results driven professional who thrives in fast paced environments and enjoys building structure, improving systems, and supporting teams in the field.
Location: Kansas City, MO or Omaha, NE (Travel Required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support regional operational leadership in managing day to day business activities across assigned territories
- Assist with oversight of multi million dollar operational segments and support achievement of financial and service performance goals
- Provide leadership and guidance to regional operations teams to ensure service delivery meets company standards for quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction
- Monitor operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support implementation of strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and regional growth efforts
- Assist in development and management of regional budgets, revenue tracking, and expense management
- Partner with sales, finance, HR, and account management teams to ensure smooth execution of new contracts and service expansions
- Support staffing and resource planning to meet operational demands and project timelines
- Assist with implementation of operational systems, reporting tools, and process improvements
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Review project scopes, proposals, and service plans to ensure operational feasibility and profitability
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with operational policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
- Provide regular operational and financial updates to senior leadership
- Respond to operational issues or escalations when necessary
Work Environment:
- Based in Kansas City, MO or Omaha, NE
- Regional travel required to support operations and client relationships
- Combination of office leadership responsibilities and field engagement
- Fast paced operational environment with multiple projects and priorities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
- Seven or more years of operations or regional management experience
- Experience managing multi site operations or regional service teams
- Strong financial awareness with experience supporting budgets and operational performance
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational plans and drive measurable results
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and performance metrics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Self motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within facilities services, construction services, or field based operations environments
- Experience working with ERP or operational management systems
- Familiarity with tools such as NetSuite or similar operational platforms
- Experience supporting large regional teams and multi location service delivery
